Linux And Apple Are Crap
Why people choose to try to make Linux an everyday operating systems just baffles me. I get so tired of hearing these people that don’t know what there talking about, talk about how great Linux is and how it never crashes like Windows does. Linux is not an everyday operating system. It was made to be a server systems and that’s all. Its great if all you do is right a letter every now and then but if you do anything more its pointless. The reason it don’t never crash is because you cant install anything on it. Hell Windows never crashes either till you go installing a 100 different types of software and drivers on it, and o yea good luck finding drivers for Linux. And with Apple release of there new o.s last year that was the biggest mistake Apple has made in such a long time. All they did was make fun of Windows Vista, on TV and on there website they would pick and pick and vista saying that it wasn’t ready to come out and there new OS would be perfect compared to vista. Then when vista came out they wanted to hurry there o.s up to compete and they made the same mistake that they had criticised Microsoft for… they released 10.5 and it wasn’t ready. this thing had way more problems than vista ever had and what makes it worse is they clam to be a perfect software company…Microsoft doesn’t. Problems that apple had fixed years ago in there operating systems came back in 10.5…. how did they manage this. they was so concentrated on making fun of vista that 10.5 wasn’t there main concern and when it was released it showed. Linux however is not an everyday o.s. That is not what it was made for. maybe someday in the near future it may be but has of now unless you have another machine running windows (or apple HAHA). Don’t install any Linux o.s. if you want a good o.s and can handle not being able to do anything and install anything. just install windows XP and don’t install anything else, its got more features than Linux, plus you can get drivers for the hardware and without installing anything its just a stable.

Grammar skills are important. Especially in the IT field. Maybe people will start listening to your obviously misinformed statements if you learn to do something as simple as avoid double negatives.

you think reviewing computers is the IT field?
and least i can stay on subject. To say that i am miss informed you sure didn’t have anything different about the subject to say. If all you can do is attack me then i guess i was right about everything above and what i said. Its funny that i really don’t see that how because i don’t know proper English, it means i don’t now anything about computers… that’s amazing how you came to say that. If that’s the case than anyone that doesn’t speak English don’t know anything about computer or the “it” field.
I also never remember saying anything about no one talking on here. i do this because its what i enjoy and love to do. Allot of time goes into each review since i work at a computer shop where we sell PCs and macs so i spend allot of time on both. I still stick to my decision that for the everyday user and 95% of all computer users, osx and Linux just isn’t practical.

lol see how apple and Linux people act… its so funny that because i don’t like apple and Linux in a “noob” lol. i would love to know what part of this post makes me a “noob”
If you look at these comment by apple and Linux users throughout my site you will notice that 95% of them cant even think of a reason that im wrong and that apple or Linux is better. All they can do is attack me personally. They have yet to make any valid points as to why Apple or Linux is better in any way. Every post on this site has apple and Linux users attacking me calling me “noob” and talking about me when they cant even find a good enough reason why im wrong to take up for Apple or Linux. I mean honestly if you cant comment on why apple or Linux is better then why attack me its pointless. Your not proving anything and your sure not making Apple or Linux look better in any way.

Yes, it is true that some hardware companies have contracts with Micro$oft, so of course Windows will have drivers for all those devices — since most linuces are free… well, this is the market
But what’s that I hear about installing stuff on Linux?
I mean how hard can it be to uncompress an archive (through terminal emulator or a GUI app.), and then type “./configure”, “make” and then “make install” ?
Or, a much simpler way — on most Linux distros today — there will be apt-get, yum, slapt-get… and the variety of software that comes as updates for your system is… well… I recommend you to try it
Bottom line - if you try Linux you probably do it out of pure curiosity. Won’t like it. Linux expects the user to think, to know exactly what they want, doesn’t ask you “Where do you want to go today?”.

The Main thing with Linux and Apple is popularity. Microsoft was the popular one till they came to be the massive company which they are today. The fact that you use the term Micro$oft lets me know your one of these people. Funny how Microsoft gets downed for making lots of money which is really what every company is trying to do, Apple above all others. Some people don’t like going for the big guy but would rather fight for the underdog. But what happens when the underdog becomes the being guy. What if Apple or Linux took over Microsoft right now. The you would have to hate Linux or Apple because everything you say you stand against will now be with Apple or Linux.
